I believe counseling is unique to each client and no two sessions are alike. Through my own life's journey, I have been fortunate to have had many unique experiences that led me down the counseling path, which has now led me to you! I am so grateful for these experiences that have provided me with a career I truly love and am passionate about. I have been trained in a variety of methods, which adds flexibility to my treatment methodology to help ensure you have a successful counseling journey. Counseling is a team effort with you, the client, being the team lead. My job is to support you along your journey. I will help you identify your challenges and learn new, healthier skills to address them. It is important to me that every client I work with feels safe and welcome in my office space; therefore, I invite you to get comfortable and let's get to know each other! Some of the many life challenges I have worked with are anxiety, depression, grief/unexpected loss, adjusting to life changes, abuse in all forms, divorce, post-traumatic stress disorder, and others. I have additional training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which helps clients process trauma that significantly impacts their lives.
